Learn how to call a square dance!
Beginners welcome.
Traditional Appalachian style calling workshops are being offered before select dances. The workshops will be very hands-on, and informal in style, and students will learn to call one to two square dances at each session, with emphasis on rhythmic use of the voice, clear calling, clear teaching, and other things that go into a caller's skill set and "bag of tricks."
5 - 7 pm. $5 tuition.
