BEGINNER FRIENDLY!
Beginner lessons start at 7:30 pm to help with basic technique. But, these moves are meant to be simple. Anyhow, sometimes messing up is half the fun! We suggest wearing layers to monitor your heat level. We also suggest wearing comfortable shoes or boots to stomp along with. You can expect to see three sets of squares called in an evening, with a waltz or a two-step played before breaks.
SINGLES FRIENDLY!
You can come alone, +1, +5. All will be included regardless! But, no one is forced to dance unless they're feelin' it. (Watching is fun too.) These social-dances are meant to be fun, inclusive and break down social barriers. We encourage folks to find new friends & dance partners throughout the night. Leads and follows are also both encouraged to ask others to dance.
SKILL MIXER!
We encourage mixed skill-levels to dance together in order to form a community of dance-mentors. If you're an experienced dancer, consider learning both the lead and follow part to help newbies get light on their feet!
!!!INVITE YOUR FRIENDS!!!
Fun increases exponentially when there's a big'ole mess of people dancing and laughing together.
